FAQ

How Long Will My Nails Last?

Wear time depends on how well you prep your natural nails before application, the adhesive you choose, and your daily activities. The key to longer wear is properly prepping your nails with the included supplies and avoiding prolonged exposure to water or heavy manual work. It’s normal for some gems to pop off, so handle your delicate nail art with care. Remember: nails are accessories, not tools.

Double-Sided Gel Tabs: Can last 1–3 days and are perfect for temporary wear or special occasions.

With Glue: Your nails can last up to 2 weeks or longer! Never continue wearing nails that are lifting, as this can create a breeding ground for bacteria. Remove lifting nails, clean and dry your natural nails, then reapply.

Nails with 3D designs are delicate, so extra care is needed when wearing them.

Will These Damage My Nails?

No. Unlike drugstore products, our glue is specially formulated to dissolve safely with wear. When removed properly, it leaves no damage or residue. The amount of glue applied affects how long the nails stay on. As long as nails are not forcibly removed, there will be zero damage.

Glue Ingredients: Ethyl Cyanoacrylate, Polymethyl Methacrylate, BHA

Nails Not Staying On?

More glue usually solves this issue. Be sure to read the instructions before applying to ensure your nails last as long as possible.

Nails Won’t Come Off:
Never forcefully remove nails. Forcing removal can cause minor but fixable damage. Nails are only difficult to remove if removed prematurely or if too much glue was applied during application. Over-gluing can happen accidentally and will simply make nails stay on longer than intended. In these cases, we recommend leaving the nails on a few more days before properly removing them. If you need shorter nails for work or personal preference, nails can be clipped and filed to your desired length in seconds.

Some Nails Popped Off:
No need to worry :) If some nails come off earlier than others, it’s likely due to uneven glue application. Simply apply a little more glue to the natural nail and the back of the nail, then reapply.

Glue Residue:
If glue builds up on your natural nail, use a cuticle pusher, nail clipper, or buffer to remove it. Residue happens from over-gluing and is normal.

Handmade Nails – Acrylic or Gel?

All VloraNail sets are made with high-quality gel tips and 4–5 coats of gel polish, depending on the design. For thicker nails or encapsulated designs, we use builder (hard) gel. Unlike traditional press-on tips, our tips are durable and designed to last for multiple wears.
